2020 Spring Season Credit/Refund Options

Our survey results indicated 75% of respondents would like to participate if we can safely offer a season, while 25% would not. We understand both points of view and completely support all of our families making decisions that are best for them! Based on these results, and due to the uncertainty of having a baseball season, the Dormont Athletic Booster Association has cancelled the 2020 Spring Baseball Season.

Once restrictions are lifted and permission is granted by state and local health officials, we’ll return to our community fields and play as much baseball as we can for the remainder of the 2020 year by offering a modified season for the Summer and Fall. When/if that time comes, we'll hold an additional registration for those who would like to participate.

Softball has not yet cancelled their Spring season for 10U, 12U and 15U age groups. Softball for 8U age group is cancelled. Participants from 8U softball can seek refunds from the community you registered with.

Below you will find a link to the 2020 Spring Season Credit/Refund Form and a description of credit/refund options. If you do not fill out the survey, DABA will retain your funds and apply them to a future season.

When requesting a credit or refund, please note:

• We are a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, so any donation is tax-deductible. Donations made during registration will be retained by DABA unless you specify a refund in the 'Comments' field at the end of the form.
• Any fee credited to an account can be refunded at a later date if unused.
• We are unable to refund credit card processing fees (3.4%) and the $3 Sports Connect transaction fee.
• Deadline to fill-out the form to request a credit, refund, or donation is June 1st, 2020.

Description of Credit/Refund Options for 2020 Spring Season

Spring Season Division Registration Fees*:

1. Credit Option: Credit Registration Fee to account for future use (credit can be refunded later if unused). This option will be applied to all registrations who do not fill out the form by June 1, 2020.
2. Refund Option: Refund Registration Fee (less credit card processing and the $3 Sports Connect transaction fees which are non-refundable).
3. Donation Option: Donate Registration Fee to Dormont Baseball to help cover the cost of future equipment and field maintenance. Donors will be issued a tax-deductible receipt.
