Register now for fall baseball and softball! Registration will be open through August 1st or until registration is full, whichever comes first, so don't delay - REGISTER NOW to secure your spot! Teams often fill up quickly.

PLEASE NOTE:

Due to planned improvements at Pop Murray Field this fall, ball games will be scheduled at away fields. We appreciate your understanding as the Borough makes enhancements to our home field and look forward to welcoming everyone back in the spring once upgrades are complete!

PLEASE READ-Baseball:

The Age cutoff for baseball players has moved back from August 31st to April 30th. Players whose birthdates fall in the months of May, June, July, and August will be impacted by this change. This change was made in accordance with the surrounding communities and the league our teams play in each season. KOA- Baseball/Softball

In agreement with GTAA(Green Tree) and CSYA(Castle Shannon) and in line with past practice, please note there may be situations, depending on registration numbers , where our 10U and 12U baseball teams will collectively play under the KOA banner.

In these situations, almost always the result of low registration numbers, teams may be formed jointly between boroughs and play as KOA teams. Team selection will be handled by the commissioners from all 3 boroughs.

In these instances players from Dormont may be assigned to teams playing out of Green Tree or Castle Shannon and vice versa, we may have some of their players come to us. Over the years we have used this model to help ensure that youth baseball players across the Keystone Oaks School District have a team to play on. The goal always being to keep the kids playing.

Please know, it is DABA’s first priority to keep all of our players here in Dormont and every effort will be made to have players play in the community in which they live.

2025 Fall Softball

The Dormont Athletic Booster Association (DABA) is committed to teach the game in a fun, competitive and instructional atmosphere. We are focused on improving the ability of every player while enhancing the experience for every family. The Fall season is meant to prepare players for their upcoming Spring season. Therefore, if your player was in 8U during the Spring but will be 9 in the Spring of 2024, they will play in the 10U Fall program.

Your player will play in the age group based on their age as of 8/31/2023.

Players ages 5-18 have the opportunity to participate in baseball and softball in a variety of levels.
